What the trip is like

Leaves La Paloma on Saturday morning and ends in Cabo Polonio on Monday at dusk. The legs are short — 45 to 55 km a day — on firm dirt road and packed sand track. The van carries the bags, the water and the spare parts, and is always waiting on the next leg. If you are tired, you get in the van, no questions asked. Two nights in a posada, breakfast included.
